If you use the backup or Excel export features, the Application creates a file and hands it to your device's standard sharing dialog, where you choose what to do with it — save it to a folder, send it to yourself, or pass it to another app. That file contains your trading records, so please treat it with the same care as any other personal document. The Service Provider never receives a copy of it, and where the file goes afterwards is entirely your decision.
Restoring a backup works the same way in reverse: you pick a file from your device, and the Application reads it locally.
